The Armor is NOT Decorative - Part 1

(Look out, in the Name of Jesus, here I come!)

(my comments regarding my understanding of the verse)

Rom 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. (Time is short - "cast off" signifies an active throwing down...actually it involves getting an "attitude" of "I am NOT going to take it any more" - "armor of light" - demons operate freely where there is darkness)

Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. ("My people" - not the sinners! Knowledge of what?) How many "Christians" sit in church swallowing every word that their pastor or priest tosses out and accept it as Truth? I figure that probably a good 80% of Christians in the US never open their Bible to gain knowledge of the Word for themselves.

2Co 6:7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, (The Word, the Power and the Armor...all to be used by those who are called of God)
